After the flood, the continuous rain for a few days now is damaging the early paddy crop. Currently, the farmers’ Basmati crop is ripe and ready. This crop has been ruined due to two days of rain.

The paddy crop has fallen on the ground due to heavy rain and wind. Due to rain water filling up to two feet in the fields, the crops lying on them have been scattered. Meanwhile, the farmers are already unhappy with the compensation given by the government for the loss of the first crop.

On the other hand, farmers are disappointed due to the loss of their crops due to recent rains and storms in the local area. Farmer leader Jathedar Saroop Singh said that their ripe basmati crop has been damaged to a large extent.

They have demanded from the government that the farmers should be compensated for the damaged crops. Farmer leaders Daljit Singh Dayalpura, Jathedar Niranjan Singh Bagradi, Gurdev Singh Manihala Jai โ€‹โ€‹Singh, Kulwant Singh JE Manakpur etc. said that the government should compensate the loss.
