NDRF teams are searching for him till 11 am on Sunday morning by conducting a rescue operation. The engineer has been identified as Sudesh (30). He is a resident of Jind, Haryana.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Sudesh had gone down to the borewell to repair the machine. He had also taken an oxygen cylinder with him, when he started to come up, dust fell on him. After this, other workers present at the spot started the rescue operation. After this, more than 40 feet of soil fell into the borewell once again.

Let us tell you that under the Delhi-Amritsar-Jammu-Katra highway project, the highway project is going on near Bashrampur village going from Kartarpur city to Kapurthala. Flyovers are being constructed on all the local roads so that the traffic on the expressway can flow regularly.

Under this plan, a flyover is being constructed on the Kartarpur to Kapurthala road, for which pillars are being poured into the ground with R-1500 machine. After boring into the ground, concrete and pillars are made in it.
