โ‚ฌ14,800 subsidy for the creation of a business: The results are out

THE Public employment Service (DYPA, formerly OAED) issued the tables with the results of the evaluation of the applications for the 3rd cycle of the “grant program for business initiatives to employ young freelancers, aged 18 to 29 years old, with an emphasis on womenยป.

According to the DYPA announcement, the goal of the 12-month action is to promoting the self-employment of young unemployed people through the creation of sustainable businesses, while 60% of the beneficiaries are unemployed women.

The amount of support for new businesses amounts to 14,800 euros etcai will be paid to three doses as follows:

  • 1st installment of โ‚ฌ4,000, after the start of activity at DOU
  • 2nd installment of โ‚ฌ5,400, after the end of the first half of the year from the start of the business
  • 3rd installment of โ‚ฌ5,400, after the end of the second semester from the start of the business

Objections

Reasoned objections (with any supporting documents) can be submitted electronically through the State Aid Information System (SSIS) within the exclusive period of 10 days from the electronic notification (via email) of the potential beneficiaries.

The program, with a total budget of โ‚ฌ61,200,000, is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund/Youth Employment Initiative, within the Operational Program “Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014 – 2020”.
