DSP Dilpreet Singh (50) has died due to heart attack in Ludhiana. According to the information received, DSP Dilpreet Singh was exercising in the gym of a luxury hotel near Bhai Bala Chowk on the Ludhiana-Firozepur road, during which he suddenly suffered a heart attack, due to which he died.
DSP Dilpreet Singh who was posted as DSP/s (Headquarters) Malerkotla. Today, he was working out in the gym at Park Plaza Hotel when he suddenly collapsed and was rushed to Hero Heart Hospital. Doctors declared him dead there.
Ludhiana resident DSP Dilpreet Singh had a regular gym routine. Before that he was ACP in Ludhiana. were According to his colleagues, Dilpreet was very health conscious and never missed a gym session.
On Thursday, he reached the gym around 4 pm. While exercising he complained of chest pain and later collapsed. His bodyguard along with other members of the gym rushed him to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

National level swimmer Dilpreet Singh joined the police force in 1992 as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI). He served in various police stations of Punjab and was later promoted as Assistant Superintendent of Police. His sister was also an international swimmer. During his service he solved many cases.
