Meanwhile, the jawans found 2 packets wrapped with tape. The jawans seized the packets and informed the higher authority. As soon as the information was received, the officials also reached the spot.
After this, the jawans examined the 2 packets wrapped with recovered tape. Out of which 15.5 kg of heroin was recovered. The value of the seized heroin in the international market is said to be in crores of rupees. The BSF said that smugglers based in Pakistan use drones to supply drug consignments here. To break their chain, jawans search the area from time to time.
