On Thursday, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Punjab Police recovered a drone from the border village of Bhoropal in a joint operation. Earlier on Thursday morning, after receiving information, the BSF team recovered 360 grams of heroin in the border village of Dauke. In both the cases, the BSF has handed over the drone and heroin to the local police.

According to a BSF spokesperson, a BSF unit was conducting a joint patrol with the police in the border village of Bhoropal on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pakistani drones were reported to have fallen outside the village. Immediately after this, the force personnel along with the police started a search operation. Meanwhile, at around 3 pm, jawans recovered a Chinese-made quadcopter (model DJI Mavic-3 Classic) drone in the paddy field.

A BSF spokesperson said that earlier on Thursday morning, a team of the force recovered 360 grams of heroin in a bottle from the border village of Dauke. The jawans patrolling the village received information about heroin in a field. After this, BSF personnel started a search operation.
