Shocking results in the study on rats
In a study published in NCBI i.e. American National Center for Biotechnology Information Journal, it has been claimed that the juice of the leaves of evergreen flower reduces the level of blood glucose very much. This study has been done by researchers from Andhra University and Sydney University. In the study, some rats were made diabetic by giving them a dose of alloxan. Alloxan is a harmful toxic chemical that scientists inject into rats for experiments. Rat’s pancreas is damaged by the effect of alloxan toxin, after which the insulin hormone is either reduced or not produced. Researchers divided alloxan-induced diabetic rats into several groups and after that, information about the activities and health of these rats was taken for several days. After a few days of study, amazing results came out from the leaves of the evergreen flower.

Juice directly activates the pancreas

According to the weight of the mice, the researchers made diabetic and normal mice consume the juice extracted from the leaves of the evergreen flower. Along with this, some groups were given a dose of Glibenclamide, the standard medicine for diabetes. After a few days of experiment, scientists got to see surprising results. In the study, it was found that the juice of the leaves of the evergreen flower reduced the amount of blood sugar in both diabetic and normal rats. Not only this, the amount of blood sugar decreased at the same speed in which it was reduced by diabetes medicine. In some it has reduced more than the medicine. At the same time, the best thing is that the compound present in the leaves of the evergreen flower directly activates the pancreatic beta cells from where insulin is made.
