Let us inform that, in the case of Excise scam and money laundering, the judicial custody of former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia was completed today i.e. on Wednesday. After this he was produced in the court. Where his bail hearing was held. At the same time, the Rouse Avenue Court has today extended his judicial custody further till April 17, 2023.

Significantly, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 in the excise scam. Earlier, he was interrogated for several hours, but later he was arrested accusing Manish Sisodia of not cooperating in the investigation and interrogation. After this, the CBI interrogated him on custodial remand and then after completion of his investigation, he was sent to judicial custody.

At the same time, while probing the money trail in the same case, the ED also arrested him on March 9. ED had earlier interrogated Manish Sisodia inside Tihar Jail for nine hours and then arrested him alleging non-cooperation in the investigation. After that ED also interrogated him by taking custody remand and he was sent to judicial custody 14 days ago. Now after completion of judicial custody, Sisodia was produced in the court on Wednesday. Wherein his judicial custody has been further extended till April 17, 2023.
