Punjab Police has arrested Mona along with her husband Jaswinder from Uttarakhand. She went here to offer obeisance at a religious place. Actually, Mona had taken a vow before the incident that if she succeeded in the robbery, she would go to a religious place. After the robbery, she came to worship with her husband. Meanwhile, when Mandeep Kaur was returning with her husband bowing her head, Inspector Beant Juneja caught her. He was identified by clothes and shoes. Mona was trying to escape to Nepal with her husband. For this he also tried to change his form.
Along with this, it has also come to light that Mona and her husband stayed at a relative’s house after the incident. Meanwhile, he did not talk to anyone on the phone. From here he left for Uttarakhand. It is also learned that Mandeep (29) got married in Patiala in 2018. He was divorced here.
