New Delhi: A new information is coming to the fore in Delhi’s famous Shraddha murder case. Delhi’s Saket Court has taken cognizance of the charge sheet filed against accused Aftab Poonawalla. The matter has been posted for investigation on February 21. Aftab was presented in the court behind closed doors. In the Shraddha murder case of Delhi, the police has filed a charge sheet of 6 thousand 629 pages.

Earlier, Aftab Poonawalla had asked the magistrate whether he would be able to get the charge sheet? On this, the magistrate said that he would take cognizance of this on February 7. Aftab said that he wants to hire another lawyer, that’s why the lawyer fighting his case should not be given a copy of the charge sheet of the case.

According to the information, the charge sheet has been made on the basis of forensic and electronic evidence, apart from the statements of more than 150 people. The DNA report of the bones recovered from Chhatarpur forests has been included in the chart sheet. Apart from this, the report of Aftab Poonawala’s narco test is also included in it, the report of polygraph test has also been included in the charge sheet. Significantly, Shraddha Walkar was allegedly strangulated to death by her live-in partner Aftab Amin Poonawalla and her body was chopped into 35 pieces and dumped in different parts of Delhi.
