Corona fury in Punjab: 271 new cases have come to light

Corona cases have started increasing once again. The number of corona victims is continuously increasing in Punjab. During the last 24 hours, the health department has taken samples of 4600 people. Of these, 3748 samples were tested, out of which 271 were found to be positive. With 271 new cases, the number of active cases from Corona in the state has reached 1546. According to the health department, 29 corona victims are on life support system in the state.

20 corona patients of level-2 are on oxygen support while 9 corona patients of level-3 are on ventilator. The condition of three of them is critical. They are admitted in different private hospitals of Jalandhar. In Ludhiana and Patiala also, the number of corona patients is increasing continuously. In Mohali, 338 samples were sent for testing, of which 69 have come back positive.

998 samples have been sent for testing in Ludhiana. Out of these, the samples of 43 persons have come positive while the results of 43 out of 210 samples in Patiala have come positive. After increasing rapidly in Jalandhar, now the number of corona has come down. In Jalandhar, 250 samples were sent for testing, out of which the results of 8 have come positive.

During the last 24 hours, there is news of relief from five districts of Punjab. Not a single corona victim has been found here. 26 samples from Mansa, 51 from Muktsar, 58 from Ropar, 36 from Sangrur, 38 from Tarn Taran have been sent for testing. The results of all these have come negative. While in Malerkotla, only one sample out of 64 has been found positive.

23 out of 614 in Amritsar, 18 out of 144 in Fazilka, 7 out of 95 in Barnala, 17 out of 80 in Bathinda, 14 out of 201 in Hoshiarpur, 2 out of 14 in Kapurthala, 9 out of 97 in Pathankot, 9 out of 97 in Nawanshahr, 9 out of Faridkot. 2 out of 15 out of 136, 2 out of 34 from Fatehgarh Sahib, 8 out of 150 from Gurdaspur, 8 out of 93 from Moga and 1 out of 64 from Malerkotla have been found positive.
