The fury of Corona continues in the country. Once again Corona has started spreading its legs. It is worth mentioning that the cases of Corona have started increasing. According to the information, 341 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 3 patients have died in Kerala.

According to the Union Health Ministry, 292 cases have been reported in Kerala, 13 in Tamil Nadu, 11 in Maharashtra, 9 in Karnataka, 4 in Telangana and Puducherry, 3 in Delhi and Gujarat and one each in Punjab and Goa. The number of active cases in the country is 2311.

On the other hand, the WHO has recently issued major directives amidst the growing situation of the Corona epidemic. Apart from this, many countries of the world have been alerted about the increase in respiratory diseases and the new subvariant JN.1 of Corona. WHO is continuously monitoring the cases and has also issued an advisory. It said people should wear masks in crowded, closed or poorly ventilated areas. Also maintain a safe distance from others as much as possible.

In India, one case of VS sub variant has been reported from Kerala. In such a situation, the central government, showing seriousness, has announced to hold a meeting with the health ministers of all the states. Along with this, governments are also issuing advisories in various states.

Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao advised senior citizens and those suffering from co-morbidities to wear masks. His comments came after a surge in Covid-19 cases in Kerala and other states.
