Paddy is harvested with combine machines in many states of the country. In such a situation, bales are made from paddy straw through a baler. Let us tell you that the demand for these bales is also good in the market. Sometimes the balers also pay good money for these bales. On the other hand, there are many industries in Haryana and Punjab that buy bales from farmers. According to information, Sumsang Paper Industry located in Karnal, Haryana generates electricity by purchasing straw bales from farmers.

After paddy harvesting, the best and easiest method of stubble management for the farmer is stubble burning. Farmers can make straw with the help of thresher machine. Straw is sold at Rs 600 per quintal. Due to which the farmers will get rid of the problem of setting the straw on fire and also get good income by selling the straw.
If farmers want, they can prepare compost from straw. To make compost from straw, farmers first have to melt the straw in a pit or cover it with straw in a composting unit with worms. Farmers can use this organic fertilizer themselves or increase their income by selling the fertilizer.
