The roof of a house collapsed due to rain in Musa village of Mansa. The sleeping husband and wife were buried under the debris. The villagers pulled him out from under the debris and took him to the Civil Hospital of Mansa for treatment. From here both were referred to Patiala, but the woman Rani Kaur (48) died on the way. The deceased is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters.
Along with this, the roof of a poor family’s house in Barke village of Ferozepur collapsed due to heavy rain. Due to which a woman was seriously injured. However, a pregnant woman sitting under the same roof escaped unhurt.
