CNG gas leak in Bathinda, created chaos

A CNG gas pipeline burst on the ground on Multania Road in Bathinda on Saturday. There was chaos at the spot due to gas leakage. As soon as the incident was reported, Gujarat Gas Company officials and fire department personnel reached the spot and immediately controlled the leaking gas. There was no loss of life during this time.

According to information, gas pipelines are being laid in different areas of the city by Gujarat Gas Company. Under which the pipeline was also laid on Multania Road of Bathinda. On Saturday, the work of laying sewage on the road was going on, as soon as the JCB machine started digging the road from the side, the claw hit the gas pipe, due to which the gas pipe burst.

Gurpreet Singh, Safety Incharge of Gujarat Gas Company, reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Along with this, the fire brigade team also reached the spot. The fire brigade in-charge says that the situation has been brought under control. It is being told that the sewage laying contractor started the work without giving any notice, under which the accident took place.
