NSA has been placed on Amritpal Singh. The police has given this information in the High Court. However, the police have said that Amritpal is still absconding (Operation Amritpal).
Let it be said that NIA is a strict law, under which the arrested accused can be kept by the police in the jail of any state.
For (Operation Amritpal), raids are being conducted by the Punjab Police at various places. Now eight teams of NIA have reached Punjab and these teams have started investigation in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar districts.
The police have imposed National Security Act (NSA) on Daljit Singh Kalsi, Basant Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Bajeka, who were shifted to Assam’s Dibrugarh Jail along with Amritpal’s uncle Harjit Singh.
