A terrible train accident could have happened in Ludhiana, the drug addict left the truck on the railway track and ran away

About 5 to 7 km away from Ludhiana railway station, in front of SPS hospital, a drunk driver drove the truck on the railway track. After entering on the wrong side from Gyaspura gate, the truck drove on the railway track for about half an hour for 1 km.

After that, he reached near Ranjit Nagar and ran away leaving the truck. Meanwhile, the Golden Temple Express train from Ludhiana railway station was at some distance from Gyaspura Gate when someone informed about the truck standing on the railway line. Meanwhile, the train touched the truck. Fortunately, no major accident occurred. Passengers also kept making videos of the truck standing on the railway track from inside the train.

SP Balram Rana of GRP, SHO Jitendra along with the police force immediately reached the spot of the incident. A team of railway officials also reached the spot. Railway employees ordered hydra machine and crane on the spot. After about an hour and a half of trouble, the truck was removed from the railway track.
