Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has directed the police department to protect the general public from unnecessary hassle due to RC and Driving License (DL). The Chief Minister said that common people are facing a lot of problems due to driving license and RC.
He said that the state government is making concrete efforts to solve this problem as soon as possible. The Chief Minister has directed the Transport Department to make the entire process smooth and complete by making necessary amendments so that the driving license and R.C. can be ensured at the earliest.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that all licenses and RCs are available on the ‘Sarathi and Vahan Portal’ and can be downloaded and printed on DigiLocker or any device. Bhagwant Mann said that the RC/Driving License downloaded from DigiLocker or Empervahan app should be treated as an authentic document by the police and passengers who show this document online should not be challaned.
