CM Maan paid obeisance at Shri Devi Talab temple in Jalandhar

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today offered obeisance at Shaktipeeth Sri Devi Talab Temple and Sri Maha Lakshmi Temple and prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the state. The Chief Minister, who reached the temples this afternoon to pay obeisance, wished the people on the festival of Maha Shivratri.

He said that the festival of Maha Shivratri inspires people to strive for the realization of truth, which leads to the supreme consciousness represented by Lord Shiva. Bhagwant Mann said the festival emphasizes the values โ€‹โ€‹of devotion, mutual love and harmony, which are known as the bedrock of the great Indian civilization.

The Chief Minister, who offered pooja at Shivalya at Sri Maha Lakshmi Temple, hoped that the festival would further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and harmony in the state. He said that this festival will usher in a new era of peace and harmony among all sections of the society. Meanwhile, Bhagwant Maan paid obeisance at the venerable Shaktipeeth Sri Devi Talab Mandir and Sri Maha Lakshmi Mandir to seek blessings from Maa Durga to serve the state with more zeal and dedication.
