khanna Balveer Singh (ASI) in-charge of the police station and his colleague ASI Harmeet Singh were arrested on the charge of molesting a girl in Rauni outpost of the police district. A case has been registered against both of them in Payal police station.
According to the information, a girl was having an argument with her boyfriend. Regarding which he gave a complaint to the police. This complaint was being investigated by Balveer Singh, the in-charge of Police Chowki Roni. The complainant girl used to come to the police station in connection with her complaint. Meanwhile, the girl broke up with her lover.
After this, the girl complained to SSP Khanna. In which it was alleged that when he was called to the post, the post in-charge Balveer Singh and ASI Harmeet Singh used to molest him and make obscene comments. When the girl complained to the SSP, strict action was taken. The SSP conducted an inquiry at his own level. In the investigation, the allegations of the girl were found to be true.
After investigation of this complaint, a case was registered under Section 354A, 166A, 294, 506, 34 of the IPC against Chowki Incharge Balveer Singh and ASI Harmeet Singh in Payal police station on October 6 and both were arrested together. SSP Kondal said that such elements will not be spared at any cost. Be that as it may, the law is equal for all.
