Children of LKG-UKG class in government primary schools will get school uniform for the first time: Harjot Bains

The Punjab Government has released a grant for providing school uniforms for LKG-UKG class children. Regarding this, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has given this information in a tweet. Since 2017 in the government primary schools of Punjab, the children of the ongoing classes of LKG-UKG were never given school uniform till date.

For the first time, the Hon’ble government has released an amount of Rs. 21.10 crores for the uniform of 351724 children of these classes.
