Minister Meet Hare gave appointment letters to 68 clerks of the Water Resources Department

Punjab Water Resources Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Heyer on Tuesday handed over appointment letters to 68 newly elected clerks in the Water Resources Department at Punjab Bhavan, Chandigarh. Of these clerks, 42 have been recruited in the Water Resources Department and 26 in the Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation.

Congratulating the newly appointed employees, the Water Resources Minister said that they should now work with full diligence and sincerity so that people’s confidence in the government offices can be increased. He said that the state led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann The government has given appointment letters to more than 29,000 youths in just one year.

Punjab government is giving employment to youth on priority basis. The Minister of Water Resources said that in the coming time also, the government will create more employment opportunities for the youth by setting up new projects by creating an investment-friendly environment in the state.

Meet Hare appealed to the youth who received appointment letters to perform their services in the public interest with diligence and honesty. He said that the water resources department is directly connected with the farmers, so the newly appointed employees can contribute to the welfare of the farmers by performing their services with full sincerity.

Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation Chairman Ranjit Singh Cheema thanked the Chief Minister and the Water Resources Minister for making this recruitment quickly to strengthen the department.
