Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pandey is on a visit to Amritsar. The Army Chief paid obeisance at Harmandir Sahib in the morning and received the blessings of the Gurus. General Manoj Pandey was accompanied by his wife Archana Salpeka. Both circumambulated the Harmandir Sahib and bowed down like a common citizen. Manoj Pandey himself acquired detailed information about Sikh history and traditions and legends related to the Golden Temple.
General Manoj Pandey’s wife Archana Salpeka was also delighted to feel the peace and spiritual energy at the Harmandir Sahib. The Army Chief wrote in the visitor’s book – I got the opportunity and good fortune to bow down in the Golden Temple and seek the blessings of the Almighty.
