A female passenger died yesterday in the Spice Jet flight coming from Patna to Amritsar. After takeoff, the health of the woman deteriorated. The plane had to make an emergency landing. Meanwhile, the woman died. After the paperwork, the body was handed over to the family members.
According to the information received, the flight number SG-2942 of Spice Jet from Patna had taken off for Amritsar in the afternoon. After some time, the health of Sarabjit Kaur (59), a resident of Tarn Taran, on board the plane, deteriorated. The crew members were informed about it. Before the crew members could do anything, the woman died.

The crew members informed the ground staff that the woman was experiencing difficulty in breathing, restlessness and dizziness. Attempts were made to give first aid on board but still no relief was obtained. Finally, the pilot contacted the ATC of the nearby airport Babatpur Varanasi and had to make an emergency landing.
