Chandigarh : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had a meeting with the farmers today i.e. Friday, in which it has been agreed to give jobs to the families of the martyred farmers and it has also been said about the remaining compensation that the government will release the compensation immediately. Apart from this, the list of the compensation given by the Telangana government has also been sought.

Giving information about this meeting, General Secretary of Kisan-Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee Sarwan Singh Pander said that the government has accepted the demands of the farmers. He said that Chief Minister Mann has promised to give compensation to the farmers immediately.

Pandher said that Chief Minister Mann has also assured that the Zeera Liquor Factory will not run. Pandher said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that this factory will not run during his government, regarding which there is some problem due to the writ in the High Court.

The farmer leader said that the Chief Minister is ready to pay Rs 15,000 as compensation for the floods, but he has sought relief in the conditions from the Centre. In such a situation, if the central government gives relief, then they are ready to give compensation up to 20 thousand rupees.
