Chandrayaan 3 Landing Update: Before the soft landing of India’s Chandrayaan-3 on August 23, the camera installed in its lander has taken pictures of the moon. ISRO has released the pictures taken by ‘Lander Imager Camera 4’ by tweeting a short video.

In the video, the surface of the moon is looking very bright, in which pits (pits) are also visible at many places. According to ISRO, these pictures were taken on Sunday (August 20, 2023).

The eyes of the whole world are on the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 at the South Pole

Chandrayaan-3 will land on the South Pole of the Moon. This is India’s third lunar mission, on which the eyes of the whole world are fixed because earlier on Sunday, August 20, the Russian lunar mission ‘Luna-25’ was the victim of an accident. He also had to land at the South Pole. So far no country has been able to reach this part of the moon. If the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 is successful, then India will become the first country to achieve this feat in terms of landing at the South Pole.

The ISRO chief said that everything is fine

ISRO Chief S Somnath has said that currently all things are working properly. He has expressed confidence about the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 at the appointed time. In a conversation with TOI, ISRO chief Somnath said that nothing should have happened in Chandrayaan-3’s journey so far.

He said that till now all the systems have worked as per the requirement of ISRO. Regarding the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3, the ISRO chief said that the preparations are complete.
