On the other hand, an increase of 3.8 degrees was seen in the mercury due to the darshan of the sun god on Sunday. Chandigarh was the hottest region of Punjab with a temperature of 28.6 degrees. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, strong winds with a speed of 30-40 km per hour will occur on March 20 and 21 and rain will occur in some parts of the state.
After this, the weather will remain mainly dry in Punjab on March 22, while the weather will change again on March 23 and rain is likely at some places. However, according to the Meteorological Department, there will be no major change in the mercury during this time.
An increase of 3.8 degrees was recorded in the mercury compared to Saturday due to the sighting of Sun God on Sunday. Chandigarh was the hottest with a temperature of 28.6 degrees. Apart from this, the maximum temperature of Amritsar was 26.7 degrees, Ludhiana 27.2, Patiala 27.8, Pathankot 28.4, Barnala 26.3 and Ferozepur 26.9 degrees.
