BSF jawans seized heroin worth Rs 17 crore in Tarn Taran

On Tuesday morning, a Pakistani drone once again struck the India-Pakistan border. Border Security Force (BSF) personnel heard the drone. The Pakistani drone that entered the Indian border went back, but heroin worth 17 crore rupees dropped through it was seized by the soldiers and sent for investigation.

According to a BSF spokesperson, BSF personnel on patrol near the barbed wire in Tarn Taran district on Monday night heard the sound of a drone falling. After this, the jawans surrounded the entire area. At 6.45 am on Tuesday, the jawans started a search operation near the barbed wire.

Meanwhile, the BSF recovered a packet wrapped in yellow tape from a field in the border village of Kalsian Khurd. When the Border Security Force personnel opened the packet, 2 kg 350 grams of heroin was recovered from it. Heroin was handed over to local police after investigation by BSF personnel.
