A meeting of the sub-committee regarding the illumination of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji at protest sites was held, a sealed report was sent to the Jathedar.

The 16-member sub-committee formed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib to work on the future direction regarding sit-in protests and lighting of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at the occupied site held a meeting at Jathedar Baldev Singh Mahlpuri Hall of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. . During the meeting, the heads of various organizations, organizations and Nihang Singh sects who participated in the sub-committee prepared a report and sent it to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

After the meeting, Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami while talking to the media said that the report prepared by consensus in the meeting will be submitted to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh.

After which the Panj Singh Sahibs from Sri Akal Takht Sahib will issue an order to take the sacred form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to the controversial places of dharna-protests and occupation. He refused to say anything more about the sub-committee report. In today’s meeting, Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, Shiromani Committee Member Rajinder Singh Mehta, Baba Nihal Singh Harian Velanwale, Baba Balbir Singh, Head of Panth Akali Buddha Dal, Baba Major Singh Tarna Dal, Sikh scholar Dr. Inderjit Singh Gogoani, Talwinder Singh Buttar, Dr. Amarjit Singh, Bhai Amaz Singh Practitioner from Damdami Taksal, Bhai Amarjit Singh Chawla, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Sikh Missionary College Chaunta Kalan and Chief Khalsa Diwan also joined their representatives.
