Drug smugglers are trying to supply drugs but BSF jawans thwart their efforts. Another such case has come to light. A consignment of heroin was found on the India-Pakistan border in Ferozepur district this morning. During the patrol, the BSF jawans saw the feet of a person. After this, when a search operation was conducted in the area, 14 yellow packets were recovered, which were filled with heroin. It is being told that these packets came from Pakistan through a drone.

According to the information received, this consignment was found with BOP Jagdish. Each packet contains about 100 grams of heroin, which means the total weight of recovered heroin is 1 kg 400 grams. BSF officials said that at around 6.30 this morning, BSF’s Khura checking party was patrolling in BOP Jagdish area on the border.

According to the officials, during patrolling, footprints of a person were seen coming and going near BP No. 192/16 and the area was immediately searched. At around 6.45, the Khura party found 14 small packets and each packet contained around 100 grams of heroin, which is worth crores.
