Big blow to Aam Aadmi Party, 3 councilors joined BJP

Aam Aadmi Party has received a big blow. Three of its Chandigarh councilors quit and joined the BJP. Among the councilors who joined the BJP are AAP women councilors Poonam Devi, Neha Musawat and Gurcharan Kala, who joined the BJP in the presence of the party's national general secretary Vinod Tawde in Delhi.

According to information, the BJP mayor has also resigned. Meanwhile, before the hearing in the Supreme Court, Mayor Manoj Sonkar has resigned. The hearing on the petition filed by the councilor of the Aam Aadmi Party challenging the order of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in the matter of Chandigarh Mayor election is to be held today on February 19.
