Bhagwant Singh aka Prime Minister Bajeke, imprisoned in Assam’s Dibrugarh Jail, has described his arrest as illegal. In this regard, Bhagwant Singh aka Prime Minister Bajeke has filed a petition in the Punjab Haryana High Court. In which Prime Minister Bajeke said that the action taken by the police against me is illegal.
Prime Minister Bajeke has challenged the imposition of NSA through his lawyer. Along with Bhagwant Singh alias Prime Minister Bajeke, his accomplices Basant Singh and Kulwant Singh, who are in Dibrugarh jail, have also approached the Punjab Haryana High Court.
Basant Singh and Kulwant Singh have also challenged the NSA’s arrest and their arrest. Prime Minister Bajeke, being his lawyer, has demanded from the High Court in his petition that his arrest should be terminated and his release from jail.
In fact, he is accused of being involved in the attack on Ajnala Police Station in Punjab on 23 February 2023. Now the accused have challenged the detention orders in the High Court and have demanded that they be canceled as illegal. The petition filed in the High Court will be heard this week.
It may be mentioned that on February 23, 2023, under the leadership of ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh, his supporters attacked the Ajnala police station. Many policemen were seriously injured in this attack.
