Bureau report : Miss Universe 2021 Harnaj Kaur Sandhu’s father Pritam Singh Sandhu passed away on Friday. He died of a heart attack in Kharar. He was 57 years old, according to the family, he slept on the bed like everyday after eating at night. In the morning, when he did not wake up, his wife woke him up, even then he was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
They were residents of Gurdaspur
Pritam Singh Sandhu was a resident of village Kohali of Batala under Gurdaspur district. When Harnaj was young, Pritam Singh shifted to Kharar. His family members still live in Kohali village. His wife Ravinder Kaur Sandhu is a government doctor. At the time of her father’s death, Harnaj Kaur Sandhu was in Mumbai, after getting the news of her father, she immediately reached Kharar.
Cremation after daughter’s arrival
It is being told that when Pritam Singh Sandhu did not wake up in the morning, the family admitted him to a private hospital, but the doctors declared him dead on the spot. Doctors told that there is a possibility of heart attack. After the daughter’s arrival, her last rites have been performed at Balongi village of Kharar at 4 pm.
