Dr. Sidhu is battling cancer. Sidhu is feeding his wife himself and is now taking her to Manali for a vacation. Sidhu himself has given this information by tweeting.
Navjot Sidhu tweeted – the wounds have healed but the mental wounds will still remain in this difficult time. 5th chemo is going on…couldn’t find a good vein then Dr.Rupinder’s expertise came in handy…he (Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu) refused to shake his hand, so fed them with a spoon… Time to go to Manali considering the drastic physical change after the last chemo between the scorching heat and humidity.
The wounds have healed but the mental scars of this ordeal will remain. Fifth chemo underway. finding a good vein went all in vain for sometime and then Dr. Rupinders expertise came handy.. She refused to move her arm so spoon fed her.

Whereas, in response to this, Dr. Sidhu tweeted- The only choice you have in life is the present moment and in that moment my choice is to be happy. I don’t want to dwell on my past and lose myself in an unknown future. Whatever God has chosen, I am determined to do it right till my last breath.
