Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested ASI for taking bribe

The vigilance team has arrested an ASI posted in Beri police station in Jhajjar while accepting a bribe of 40 thousand rupees. The bribe went to clear the names of two men in a fight case. The team of Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau is continuously taking action against corruption.

Inspector Pramila said that Anil, a resident of village Siwana district Jhajjar, had given a written complaint in the anti-corruption police station that the police had registered a case against 6 members of his family in connection with the fight in Beri police station.

In this case, the police had arrested 4 people, but later they got bail. He said that the ASI of Beri police station was demanding a bribe of Rs 40,000 in exchange for removing the names of the other two persons from the fight case.
