Chandigarh: After Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s tweet about Mukhtar Ansari’s court hearing expenses being recovered from the then Chief Minister and Jails Minister, the political atmosphere is seen to be burning. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has sent a notice to Captain Amarinder and Sukhjinder Randhawa. CM gave this information through tweet. In a tweet, Chief Minister Mann said that Randhawa Sahib, take your “Ansari” notice.

Yesterday, after this, the then Jails Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa tweeted and hit back at Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, saying that the issue of notice had been said. After this today, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann gave the information about issuing the notice. This notice has been issued against former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and then Jail Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.

In fact, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had tweeted yesterday that – the fee of 55 lakhs for keeping the UP gangster Ansari in Punjab jail and fighting his case in the Supreme Court will not be paid from the treasury of Punjab. This money will be recovered from the then Home Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Jail Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.. In case of non-payment, their pension and other government benefits will be cancelled.

In response to which Congress leader and MLA Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said in a press conference in Chandigarh today that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is telling lies just to get publicity. In the Ansari case, the lawyer’s fee is not Rs 55 lakh but Rs 17 lakh 60 thousand. Randhawa said that when I was the jail minister, the lawyer had sent the file with the expenses to me too, but we returned the file to the lawyer and said that we will not pay it.

Apart from this, Sukhjinder Randhawa said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should take legal advice. They do not know that the decision to keep a prisoner in jail is made by the government and not by the court. Randhawa said that if the government sends me a notice to recover the lawyer’s money, I will go to court. Sukhjinder Randhawa said that I will file a defamation case against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The claim of Rs 55 lakh is false. While the actual bill is 17 lakh 60 thousand.

After this, the Aam Aadmi Party accepted the challenge of Sukhjinder Randhawa and announced to send a notice to Randhawa within two hours.
