Chandigarh: Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Anmol Gagan Mann has appreciated Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s decision to convert the area around Ranjit Sagar Dam into a tourist destination.
It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister has expressed his intention to develop the Dhar Kalan block as a major tourist center during his visit to the Ranjit Sagar Dam area on Thursday. The Chief Minister has also directed the officials to prepare a comprehensive blueprint for the development of the entire region.
Giving more information in this regard, the Tourism Minister said that the Chief Minister has recognized the wealth of natural resources available in the region, adding that the visionary approach of the state government to develop the Ranjit Sagar Dam region as a major tourism hub. Demonstrates commitment to promoting economic growth through tourism.
The minister expressed hope that the project would be completed soon and would attract tourists from all over the country.
