Gandhi Nagar. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani visited Somnath Mahadev Temple in Gujarat on Saturday on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. He had reached here with his own son and Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani. During this, he donated Rs 1.51 crore to the temple trust.

According to news agency ANI, Mukesh Ambani donated Rs 1.51 crore to the Somnath Temple Trust. The father and son could be seen offering prayers with folded hands at the temple. Whereas, in another picture, the priest can be seen presenting sandalwood paste and a stole to Ambani.

It may be noted that in September last year, Mukesh Ambani had visited Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh and made an offering of Rs 1.5 crore. He was accompanied by his son Anant’s fiancee Radhika Merchant and Reliance Retail Ltd director Manoj Modi.

Whereas, last year, Akash Ambani visited the famous Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara town of Rajsamand, Rajasthan in October, where he announced the launch of Jio 5G services. He also donated Rs 1.5 crore to the temple trust on the occasion of Diwali.
