Amarpreet Singh, the national servant of Khalsa Aid, the social service organization that comes forward at the time of disaster in the world and India, has resigned from his post. Khalsa Aid has given this information by issuing a press note. Not only this, Amarpreet Singh along with the Punjab team are also reported to have resigned from their respective positions, although Khalsa Aid has not yet commented on the same.

Amarpreet Singh served as Managing Director of Khalsa Aid in India for 10 years and was at the forefront of providing relief materials during the floods in Punjab and other states this year. All the relief and rescue operations carried out by Khalsa Aid in India and Punjab in the last 10 years were carried out under the supervision of Amarpreet Singh.

But suddenly after the resignation of Amarpreet Singh and the Punjab team, there has been a stir. Khalsa Aid may soon announce the name of its new National MD post.

Earlier, the NIA surprised everyone by raiding the Khalsa Aid office and Amarpreet Singh’s house at 5 am on August 2. At that time important documents of Khalsa Aid were taken over by NIA. The purpose of the NIA was to investigate the people providing funds to Khalsa Aid and the methods used to provide the funds.

Meanwhile, Amarpreet Singh, presenting his side, made it clear that Khalsa Aid will continue to provide the information, which the NIA will need. The raid met with huge opposition in Punjab, as the raid took place at a time when the whole of Punjab was in the grip of floods and a large-scale rescue operation was being carried out by Khalsa Aid.
