Patiala: After the hearing conducted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the SYL case in the past, all the political parties of Punjab have come into the fray. Shiromani Akali Dal today held a meeting in Kapuri village of Patiala under the leadership of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Addressing the people, Badal targeted the Congress and said that the Congress party has pushed Punjab so far. Badal said that neither canal will be built nor water will go out in the state. He said that only 25% water is left in our part. Badal accused the Congress and said that the Congress has a big hand in taking away the water of Punjab. He said that the Congress government has given our water to Haryana and Delhi.
Accusing the Aam Aadmi Party, Badal said that the Congress had done two things with the waters of Punjab and Kejriwal has stamped it again today. He said that Akali Dal has always fought for the rights of Punjab. Badal said that if there was no Akali Dal, today the Punjabis would have been given a role to fight the battle of Punjab.
