AGTF arrested the main shooter Gopi Dallewalia

Gangster Gopi Dalewalia: Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) in joint action with Moga Police arrested gangster Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Dallewalia, alias Santokh Singh, during a crackdown against anti-social elements on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. was the main shooter in the murder case.

Giving this information, DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the accused Gopi Dallewalia, who is a resident of Dallewal village of Jalandhar, is a member of Goru Bacha gang. He said that the police teams have also recovered a pistol and five cartridges from his possession.

The operation came 15 days after the Punjab Police arrested three shooters, identified as Nirmal Singh alias Nimma, April Singh alias Shera and Jaskaran Singh alias Karan. Police recovered three .32 caliber pistols used in the crime along with 10 live cartridges and a Hyundai Verna car from their possession. It is to be noted that four assailants entered the house of Santokh Singh in Moga on July 16, 2023 and murdered him.

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that after getting reliable sources ADGP. AGTF under the overall supervision of Pramod Ban. The team of Moga police has arrested Gopi Dallewalia from Mehtpur area of Jalandhar. The arrested man is accused in four criminal cases and was declared a fugitive in the 2016 Guraya murder case.

Sharing more details, AIG AGTF Sandeep Goyal said that Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Dallewalia and Gaurav Sharma alias Goru Bacha are the masterminds of this heinous murder. He said that further investigation is going on.

A case in this regard FIR No. 155 dated 16/07/2023 under Section 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25 of the Arms Act has already been registered at Police Station City Moga.
