On the other hand, after the resignation, the Aam Aadmi Party handed over the responsibility of the portfolios of both the ministers to MLAs Rajkumar Anand and Kailash Gehlot without delay. According to the information, AAP has given the responsibility of Finance, Planning, Public Works Department, Power, Housing, Urban Development, Irrigation and Flood Control and Water Department to Kailash Gehlot. On the other hand, Raj Kumar Anand has been entrusted with the departments of Education, Land and Building, Vigilance, Services, Tourism, Art Culture and Language, Labour, Employment, Health and Industries.

Now these resignations will be sent to Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, which will be sent for the President’s approval through LG and Home Ministry. After this, the file of President’s approval will return from LG to CM and then there will be an official announcement of accepting the resignation.

Similarly, when the posts of two ministers in the Delhi cabinet become vacant, then a notification will be taken out from the LG office to fill these posts, then the Delhi CM will send the new names for the ministerial posts to the LG. After this, he will send the file of appointment of new ministers to the President through the Ministry of Home Affairs. New ministers will be appointed after getting permission from there.
