Star footballer Lionel Messi has signed a two-year deal with French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) following his departure from Barcelona. He will soon be seen playing for another club. Lionel Messi has said goodbye to his Spanish club Barcelona after 21 years.
He became emotional as he attended his last press conference as a Barcelona player. Lionel Messi will receive ਕਲੱਬ 25 million (approximately Rs 258 crore) a year to play for French club Paris Saint-Germain. The 34-year-old Messi will have the option to extend the deal for three years and was ready to sign a new five-year deal with Barcelona, but the club was unable to complete the deal.

After leaving Barcelona last week, Messi had two more options, but he decided to move to PSG. Messi has said in the past that he wanted to stay at Barcelona and “did everything possible” to stay at the club. He also agreed to a 50 per cent pay cut. However, due to some rules, Barcelona was unable to do so. Messi is now ready to join PSG.
