Adventist Risk Management Short Term Travel Insurance

Providing Essential Coverage and Advice

In light of the growing global concern surrounding COVID-19, ARM (Adventist Risk Management) is dedicated to offering relevant travel advice, insurance policies, and helpful tips to travellers.

Each year, numerous Adventist church volunteers and employees embark on journeys around the world to fulfil their mission. Short-term travel insurance serves as a safeguard against financial losses resulting from medical emergencies, personal property damage or loss, or security threats encountered during these trips.

Comprehensive Protection for Travelers

Adventist volunteers and church employees travel internationally every year to spread the message of the gospel. Our Short-Term Travel Insurance provides them with protection in the event of medical emergencies, security threats, or the loss of personal property. This coverage is applicable to trips approved by their respective conference or for personal vacations of current or retired church employees. It is important to note that US clubs attending the International Pathfinder Camporee must either purchase this policy or obtain written confirmation from their Conference stating that they will cover the cost for every attending Pathfinder.

Given the recent outbreak of COVID-19, we want to provide you with important travel and insurance information. In collaboration with International SOS, a leading provider of medical travel security services worldwide, ARM offers up-to-date advice, assistance, and services before, during, and after your trip. We encourage you to carefully review this material to make informed decisions about your travel plans and to be prepared for possible symptoms of COVID-19 infection.

Cancel for Any Reason Coverage

As the name suggests, cancel for any reason travel insurance (CFAR) offers travellers the flexibility to make last-minute changes without incurring penalties or cancellation costs. Such plans typically cover up to 75% of prepaid non-refundable trip expenses, but they do have specific requirements that must be met to qualify for reimbursement.

Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes our travel plans need to change unexpectedly. With CFAR coverage, your expenses can be covered if you are forced to alter your plans due to medical emergencies, job loss, or unexpected events like the COVID-19 pandemic.

Adventist Risk Management provides short-term travel insurance to missionaries, church employees, and retired denominational members travelling abroad for church-approved or personal trips. We also offer Cancel for Any Reason coverage to Adventist club leaders travelling on behalf of their clubs, churches, or schools.

Medical Coverage

Adventist Risk Management offers domestic and international short-term travel insurance policies designed to protect Adventist missionaries and volunteers travelling for church-related trips, as well as current or retired denominational employees on business or personal journeys. These plans are created in partnership with International SOS, one of the worldโ€™s leading travel health and medical services companies.

For US-based Pathfinder clubs, it is mandatory for all club members to purchase travel insurance or obtain confirmation from their Conference that the cost will be covered. Non-US clubs are strongly encouraged to obtain this coverage as well. Itโ€™s important to note that while Adventist Risk Management offers travel insurance that covers accidents, any sickness or illness should still be addressed with your healthcare provider.

Baggage Coverage

If your luggage goes missing or your property is damaged and requires repairs, baggage coverage can provide assistance. This policy also extends to cover personal belongings during your trip, offering affordable protection that is advisable to carry with you on all your journeys.
