Action on not preparing the report of Patna’s Mithapur-Mahuli elevated road, DM withheld the salary of 5 officers

Patna’s DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh held a meeting of the Project Monitoring Group on Tuesday in the meeting room of the Collectorate. While reviewing the implementation of various ongoing projects in the district, he took stock of the latest progress. In the meeting, he was very angry over the indifference of the officers in the implementation of the schemes. He ordered to stop the salary of five officers. Along with this, show cause has also been asked from the officials.

Order to stop salary of 5 officers

The DM has ordered to withhold the salary of Phulwarisharif CO, Patna’s DCLR and Additional Collector for not taking interest in preparing the report of whether the land is government or ryati in Mithapur-Mahuli elevated road construction even in eight months. In this project, there are 17 non-Majrua owner land and eight bakasht owner land in four mouzas. It has to be decided by Ryoti/Government.

In the meeting on 15 November 2022, the CO of Phulwari Sharif was instructed to make a record and send it to the DCLR. But, no action was taken even in eight months. This is delaying the implementation of the project. At the same time, for missing from the meeting, the CO of Maner and Danapur was also directed to stop the salary.

On-the-spot problems will be solved by setting up camp

In case of land acquisition, the DM asked to execute the distribution of compensation by setting up a camp in the village. In the camp, the CO, Revenue Officer, Amin and Revenue staff stayed together and instructed to solve the problems on the spot. The concerned DCLR has to be monitored. Nodal officers of the department requiring land will also be deputed. Action will be taken against those who create obstacles in the implementation of schemes. For this, the SDO and the police officer were asked to monitor.

Instructions to mark land in 21 villages for Danapur-Bihta elevated road

DM reviewed the progress in construction of Danapur-Bihta elevated road. In this, 65.41 acres of land is to be acquired in nine villages in Danapur zone and 12 mouzas in Bihta zone. He asked the CO to get the demarcation done in a week and mark the places of encroachment. Report related to ryati/government of 29.82 acres of land in Amas-Darbhanga forelane, 39 khesra in Fatuha circle and 35 khesra in Dhanrua zone, in Amas-Ramnagar section, was sought from CO/DCLR.

The transfer proposal of 2.0426 hectare in Fatuha zone and 4.3473 hectare non-Majrua common land of Dhanrua has been sent to CO Fatuha and Dhanrua. Compensation has been paid to 123 ryots in the project. In Kanhauli-Ramnagar Ring Road Project, the petitioner department was directed to give work schedule. SDO has to start the work. The obstruction in the Bihta-Sarmera road will be removed in a length of 4.5 km. In Sherpur-Dighwara Ring Road Project, it was asked to speed up the proposal of transfer of government land and compensation payment.
