A young man was murdered in Sangatpura Basti, Abohar Road, Sri Muktsar Sahib. The deceased 24-year-old youth has been identified as Happy Suro Mahinder Singh. According to eyewitnesses, Nihang Singh, who lives in the neighborhood, killed the young man with a spear after hearing a minor incident.
The young man used to work at the Happy Garments shop, and heard a rumor that a man living in Nihang Singh’s Bane attacked him with a spear.
He was rushed to the government hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. Thana City S. H. oh Varun Mattu said that a case has been registered against a person named Gobind Singh in this regard. Police is investigating the matter.
