Change in Agniveer recruitment process, now common entrance exam will be held first

A change has been made in the Agniveer recruitment process in Punjab from this year. From this year, the online common entrance exam will be conducted first for the youth joining the army. All the successful candidates of Common Entrance Exam will have physical recruitment rally as before. Details of rally venue and date will be announced separately. For which 176 centers have been established across the country. Each youth can choose five cadres to take the exam.

Giving information in this regard, Director of Recruitment Colonel Saurabh Charan said that the online exams will start from April 17. Online registration for Agniveer Sena Bharti has started. This registration will continue till 15 March 2023. All interested candidates who want to join Indian Army as Agniveer can apply online through Aadhaar Card or 10th Certificate through official website of Indian Army- www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

He said that the common entrance exam will be conducted on computer. Information in this regard has been given on the website of the Indian Army and on YouTube. Apart from this, the practice test will also be available on the website. He informed that Common Entrance Test fee is Rs 500 out of which Rs 250 is paid by the government and young candidates can pay the fee through UPI/BHIM or credit and debit card or any major bank.

Let it be known that all eligible male/female candidates born between October 01, 2002 to April 01, 2006 Required Educational Qualification Agniveer (General Duty, Agniveer Tradesman, 8th & 10th Pass, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer General Duty (Female Military Police) Categories , Male candidates eligible for Constable Technical (Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary) and Constable Pharma categories can apply.
