A 17-year-old youth from village Baja under Dharamkot police station has died due to bullet injury. Actually, the young man was cleaning his father’s licensed revolver. Meanwhile, suddenly a shot was fired from the revolver. After this, he died during treatment in the hospital. The deceased youth has been identified as Gurbinder Singh.
While giving information in this regard, investigating officer Assistant Police Station Jasveer Singh said that Gurbinder Singh had passed the 11th standard. He said that he was cleaning the licensed revolver of his father Sukhwinder Singh when suddenly a bullet fired from the revolver. Everyone panicked after hearing the sound of gunshots. When he saw, he was injured and fell there.

Meanwhile, relatives immediately admitted Gurbinder Singh to a private hospital in Moga. But he died there during the treatment. Jasveer Singh said that action has been taken based on the statements of Sukhwinder Singh, father of the deceased. He said that the body has been handed over to the heirs after conducting the post-mortem at Civil Hospital Moga. After the death of the 17-year-old son, the whole family is in a bad state.
