An engineering student died after a train came down at Ludhiana station of Ferozepur division of Northern Railway. The deceased student has been identified as 21-year-old Satwinder Kaur. At Ludhiana railway station, the student started to board the moving train, due to which her foot slipped and she died.

This is not a first case. Often the passengers cross the railway tracks openly, but the officials who stop these people are not attracted from the office chair, due to which they are not getting up from outside and checking the safety arrangements at the ground level. . Due to this, people are losing their lives in train accidents at the station.

The deceased Satwinder was going to Pathankot and had bought a ticket for the Swaraj Express departing from Platform No. 2. She fell on the tracks under the train after failing to board the train leaving the platform. The wheels of the train cut his body into two pieces, killing him on the spot.

Let us tell you that after some time another train came. In that train too, passengers were seen making a stampede to board the moving train, at which point no RPF personnel appeared to stop them. There is great negligence on the part of the security forces that they are not taking action against people crossing the tracks and boarding the moving train.

Satwinder Kaur, a student from Pathankot, was going to meet her grandmother who was doing B.Tech in Civil Engineering at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College. Satvinder used to work along with studies. Investigating officer Kashmir Singh said that the investigation has been started after identifying the dead body.
