A school bus met with an accident near Morni, a famous tourist spot in Panchkula. The bus of Guru Nanak Public School had reached here from Mullanpur in Ludhiana, Punjab, taking the children. The school children had come to visit Morni’s Tikar Tal. Where the brakes of the bus failed and then the bus hit a tree.

7 children and 2 women teachers were injured in the accident. As soon as the information was received, Kamaljit, in-charge of Morni police post and Ranbir, home guard constable and others reached the spot along with the Dial 112 team and took the injured to the local hospital for first aid.

The outpost in-charge said that there is no big hospital in this area, due to which a total of 7 children and 2 female teachers have been referred to General Hospital Sector 6 after first aid. According to the information, a major accident was avoided due to the wisdom of the driver. The school bus brought the children for Morni tourism.
